It is one of my very favorite Christian hymns and I just love singing it in my morning worship to God. I first learned this hymn in the very first church I attended and came to know and accept the Lord as my Lord and Savior - an Assembly of God church. Be Thou My Vision ~ Translated by Mary E. Bryne, 1880-1931 ~ Versified by Eleanor H. Hull, 1860-1935 Stanza 1: Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art. Thou my best Thought, by day or by night, Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light. Stanza 2: Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word; I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord; Thou my great Father, I Thy true son; Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
